Our Story

Jane and Ross.jpg

For Ross and Jane—often deep in remote creeks and croc country chasing fish and crabs—the priority was something tough, stable, and safe.

A tender you have the option to sit in, not on.

Meanwhile, Pete and Ruth needed a lightweight, dry, and reliable runabout for shore trips, provisioning, and ferrying the occasional guest.

Starting from scratch, Peter and Ross freehand-shaped their first designs from MDF timber sheets. This hands-on approach allowed them to fine-tune the hull for maximum performance and stability.

Those handcrafted MDF plugs became the foundation for the moulds still used to build every Fusion Tender today. Each tender is crafted using a vacuum-infused resin process, resulting in a lightweight, durable, and high-performance boat.
